Stop by the Trail Center to pick up an Earth Week Activity Booklet, then hit the trails to explore the amazing natural sights that make First Landing State Park so special. From unique plants and wildlife to beautiful coastal habitats, your booklet will guide you on a fun, self-paced adventure through the park. Join us in discovering, appreciating, and protecting the natural wonders all around us!
About Earth Day
In celebration of Earth Day on April 22, Virginia State Parks offers a range of special events and activities highlighting the importance of conservation and sustainability. Visitors are invited to participate in educational programs, guided nature walks, wildlife observation, tree plantings and service projects to help preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the state’s 44 parks.
