The Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum will host a community yard sale on Saturday, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can look forward to a diverse selection of unique items for sale!

Donations are needed for the sale, and the Friends will accept items in good condition, except clothing and shoes. Members of the public may drop off items at the Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park office building (the brick building on Shawnee Ave., across the street from the Museum) on Monday-Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 10.

The Friends of the Museum are opening vendor registration to the public for their annual Spring yard sale. In addition to the various offerings from the Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum, local community members will also participate, showcasing a wide array of products such as clothing, household and garden supplies, home decor, tools, crafts, and much more. Setup fee is $10.

Vendors can begin setting up their booths on the morning of the event, starting at 6 a.m., with all setups required to be completed by 8:45 a.m. Those interested in securing a vendor spot can register by reaching out via email to doretha.cole@dcr.virginia.gov or by calling the Museum directly at 276-523-9640.

The Friends of the Southwest Virginia Museum is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
