Grab your binoculars and get outside. Join Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, NVBA, on an introductory birding walk to discover and identify birds at Mason Neck State Park. Meet your guides at the Bay View Trailhead. Download the Merlin app to your phone and create a free account before the walk to help you identify birds and keep your own bird list. Registration is not required, but it is recommended so we have enough guides for the group. Please register with NVBA at https://www.nvbirdalliance.org/calendar. We will have a few pairs of loaner binoculars available. Bay View Trail is approximately 1 mile in length and has stairs and some boardwalks that are not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.
