Join our rangers on a guided hike and learn about our native species, park history, and wetland habitat. Meet at the Visitor Center before the hike. Long Pond trail is an approximately 1-mile-long loop trail that goes by both Long Pond and Aquia Creek and is of moderate difficulty.

Be sure to bring water and wear weather-appropriate clothing. Pets are welcome on this hike so long as they are friendly towards adults, children, and other pets. They must remain on leash the entire hike.

In case in inclement weather, please check this page prior to coming to the park. Cancellations will be posted by close of business the day before the program.
