Kayak Float - Old Castlewood to St. Paul - Birds along the Clinch

Kayak season is here! Paddle the Clinch with a park ranger.

Pre-registration is required for our kayak trips; spots are limited to 8 people per float.

There is a $20 fee for use of kayak, life jacket and paddles.

Children must be over the age of 13. This Kayak float will be from Old Castlewood to St. Paul; this float is 2.5 miles which is about 1 hour to 2 hours depending on the flow of the river. This float will also be an educational float all about birds along the Clinch. With that being said, this float will be slow and easy. We recommend bringing water and a snack and close toed water shoes are required.
