The Senior Ranger series is geared towards senior citizens who are interested in learning more about nature, outdoor skills, and history. This program offers a range of outdoor opportunities to be active and explore Leesylvania State Park. Complete 5 sessions and receive a Senior Ranger Badge.

Enjoy a canoe adventure at Leesylvania State Park on Powell's Creek! Take in the tranquility of this tributary, watch majestic bald eagles and ospreys soar above, a heron hunting along the shore, or turtles basking in the sunshine. No paddling experience is required. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to event start time at Potomac Place, located in the boat launch parking area. Dress for the weather and bring your reusable water bottle.
