Celebrate the beauty of summer with a guided hike under the radiant Strawberry Moon!
This special lunar event has long been associated with the ripening of strawberries. Rangers will lead this walk through the historic village of Foster Falls bathed in moonlight. Learn about the Strawberry Moon, discover nocturnal wildlife, and enjoy the summer evening air in a peaceful, nature-filled setting.
This hike will be about 1 mile on moderate to easy grassy terrain with some trails.
Leashed pets are welcome.
Meeting place: Caboose at Foster Falls
Admission to the program is free. VA State Park parking fees still apply.
