A walk after sunset can sometimes feel mysterious, but it does not need to be feared. This half-mile walk will reveal some of the wonder to be found when the night begins to come alive. What physical characteristics do nocturnal animals require? Can our own eyes adapt to low light? Do some elements glow in the dark?
You may bring a flashlight, but to use during the program a red-colored lens is required. Please do not bring pets. Closed-toe footwear is recommended. Restrooms are not available at the Cumberland Multi-use Trail parking lot.
