The Southwest Virginia Museum Historical State Park will kick off its “Lunch on the Lawn” summer music series on Friday, June 19, from 12 to 1 p.m. with a performance by Evan O’Quinn.

Evan O’Quinn, a singer-songwriter from Big Stone Gap, Virginia, entertains audiences with a blend of original songs and a wide range of covers, from contemporary jazz pieces to beloved Appalachian favorites.

Park staff and volunteers will offer crafts and activities for children during each “Lunch on the Lawn” program. Bring the whole family to enjoy a fun afternoon in the beautiful Victorian Garden, complete with home-grown music and live entertainment on the museum lawn.

“Lunch on the Lawn” is free and open to everyone. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
