Join us at the Community Fire Ring to relax, enjoy a roasted marshmallow, and get to know your camping neighbors. A ranger will be there to test your knowledge with a game of trivia and answer questions about the park. Trivia will feature questions about DCR to celebrate the organization's 100th anniversary!

On March 17, 1926, the Virginia General Assembly passed landmark legislation establishing the State Commission on Conservation and Development, planting the seeds for what would become today’s Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).
