Are you new to camping and don't have all the gear you need? Or are you an experienced camper who wants to try a new spin on a favorite past time?

All are welcome at Grayson Highlands' Great American Campout, an all-night experience full of special events.

Camp for free in our Picnic Area and for first-timers who do not own gear, we have a limited number of tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping pads which we are happy to share, for free.

Campsites and gear are limited, so please contact the park office to pre-register at 276-579-7092. In order to use park gear, you must pre-register by June 21. Rangers will be there to assist anyone who needs it. If you do not need to borrow gear from the park, feel free to come and set up gear of your own.
