park locationWhere

Smith Mountain Lake State Park, 1235 State Park Rd., Huddleston, VA 24104. Discovery Center Pavilion.

When

April 24, 2021. 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Help us celebrate Earth Day. Bring the kids to the park and learn how you can help keep our environment clean, as well as help our local wildlife. Participate in fun activities where you'll learn to re-purpose items that might otherwise have ended up in the landfill. Here is a great way to turn trash to 'treasure'. Learn how to make a soda bottle birdfeeder using recyclable materials. All activities are free, but regular parking fees apply.

**To ensure the safety of all participants, we ask that you follow all CDC guidelines including wearing a mask and social distancing from those outside your family group.**
