Grayson Highlands State Park hosts Fall Festival Sept. 28-29

MOUTH OF WILSON, Va. – The Grayson Highlands Fall Festival will return to Grayson Highlands State Park on Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nestled in Virginia’s stunning Appalachian Mountains, the festival promises a weekend of family-friendly autumn activities. 

Event highlights include: 

  • Live music: Bluegrass on Saturday and gospel music on Sunday. 
  • Craft market: Handcrafted goods, seasonal decorations and unique souvenirs. 
  • Food vendors: Hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, apple cider and more. 
  • Pony auction: 2 p.m. on Saturday. 

“We are excited to welcome visitors to Grayson Highlands State Park for the Fall Festival,” said Park Manager Marci Holland. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for families and outdoor enthusiasts to come together and celebrate the beauty of the season. With so much to see and do, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
