Indoor Weddings Venues

The Bear Creek Hall facility offers a beautiful setting, surrounded by tall trees and natural surroundings. The facility is available for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners and engagement parties. The hall can accommodate up to 65 guests and 25 vehicles. Forty guests can be comfortably seated for catered meals.

Chippokes offers indoor venues for weddings of all sizes, from 15 guests to 200 guests. In the historic area, the fully enclosed conference shelter can accommodate up to 200 people for receptions and rehearsal dinners. For weddings with 15 or fewer guests, the park has the Boardroom inside the antebellum Jones-Stewart Mansion.

The Water’s Edge Meeting Facility at Claytor Lake offers a stunning setting for weddings, receptions, engagement parties and more. The room overlooks the lake and has a scenic view from the water’s edge. It can accommodate up to 100 guests.

Location: Dublin, Virginia

Fayerdale Hall Conference Center offers a natural, historic setting for saying "I do." Inside features a full kitchen, dance floor, large river rock fireplace, and enough space for a ceremony with 230 guests and a reception with 130 guests for a sit-down dinner. Ceremonies can also be held outside on the deck or in the field with 100 guests.

Hungry Mother offers two historic indoor locations for receptions and ceremonies. The Lakeview Event Facility features breathtaking views of Hungry Mother Lake, offers catering and can accommodate more than 200 guests, depending on the setup. Head into the woods and discover the Hemlock Haven Conference Center, which can accommodate 100 to 200 guests, depending on the setup. Wedding packages are available for both venues.

Location: Marion, Virginia

The climate-controlled Cove Ridge Center is open year-round and can accommodate up to 100 guests. The center also features a 3,500-square-foot deck, perfect for cocktail hour or an outdoor reception, state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment and high-speed Internet access. The Cove Ridge Center can be rented in conjunction with the amphitheater for an outdoor ceremony.

Location: Duffield, Virginia

New River Trail offers two indoor locations for weddings. Shelter 2 is an enclosed picnic shelter that has enough space for about 50 guests, six picnic tables and electricity. Shelter 2 can be rented in conjunction with the nearby amphitheater for an outdoor ceremony. The park's second indoor location is The Inn at Foster Falls. Deep in the woods are the Swift Creek and Algonquian (Powhatan) banquet halls. The capacity of the Swift Creek Banquet Hall is 150 guests, and the capacity of the Powhatan Banquet Hall is 125 guests, making them ideal for large weddings and receptions.

The waterfront Cedar Crest Center offers three climate-controlled rooms, tables and chairs, a caterer's kitchen, a large outdoor deck and a lakeside gazebo. It can accommodate 135 guests in its largest room, Doswell Hall. 

Location: Green Bay, Virginia

Helen and Tayloe Murphy Hall is a Civilian Conservation Corps-era building perfect for rustic weddings. It offers a main hall, an executive meeting room and a kitchen. The hall can accommodate up to 72 guests for indoor ceremonies and receptions.

Location: Montross, Virginia

With a striking facade, stately columns and intricate detailing, the 1870s-era Karlan Mansion is a one-of-a-kind location for an indoor ceremony or reception. It also features a solarium that's perfect for cocktail hour. The mansion can accommodate 75 guests.
