Invasive Plant ID and Workday at James River Park
Natural Heritage has been actively volunteering to help the James River Park System (JRPS) remove invasives from a small portion of JRPS and monitoring the results. Participants will be able to learn to identify many invasive and problematic species and how to control them safely. Staff experts from JRPS and Natural Heritage will be on-site to lead the activity, answer questions, and teach identification skills.
Tools, work gloves, and other instruction will be provided by staff on site.
