Virginia Cave Board Member Resources
The Virginia Cave Board is established by §10.1-1001 of the Code of Virginia and consists of the Director of the Department of Historical Resources or his designee, serving in an ex-officio capacity, and 11 citizens of Virginia appointed by the governor for four-year terms. Appointments are made on the basis of activity and knowledge in the conservation, exploration, study and management of caves. The following is provided to inform members of the Virginia Cave Board.
