Hop on over to Kiptopeke State Park for an afternoon of Easter fun!  Starting at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM - Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy some games and crafts!

Looking for a fun service project this Earth Day?  Help Park Rangers as we preserve the beauty of the Big Water Visitor Center.  We will be cleaning out flower beds, weeding the walkways, and planting native species.  We will meet at the Big Water Visitor Center at 9:00 am!  Come prepared to get your hands dirty, bring gardening gloves and wear appropriate clothing.  All ages are welcomed!

Join us for National Kids to Parks Day!  Celebrate the importance of pollinators with a fun, hands-on craft designed for kids of all ages.  Learn about bees, butterflies, and other pollinators while creating your own nature-inspired craft to take home.  Crafts will be set up at the Big Water Visitor Center from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Join Kiptopeke State Park and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation for the 2025 Clean the Bay Day Event. In 2024, more than 3,680 volunteers and 60+ Chesapeake Bay Foundation partners gathered at over 200 sites across Virginia.
