The Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in VA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) are pleased to offer a NOAA Digital Coast Data, Tools and Training Workshop at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) Campus in Gloucester Point, VA.
Adam Bode and Susan Fox of NOAA’s Office for Coastal Management will provide participants with an overview of resources available through NOAA’s Digital Coast, in addition to hands-on learning opportunities using multiple resources. Tools include the Sea Level Rise Viewer, Coastal Flood Exposure Mapper, OpenNSPECT, Impervious Surface Analysis Tool, and additional natural infrastructure related resources.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
